Conclusion and new review 10/02/2014
My equipment today:

With MFt I discovered the fixed focal lengths for me again and added my feet in motion.
The fixed focal length lenses are pretty small, light and extremely sharp because making pictures fun and you can always take all.
All 3 M.Ft lenses that I use currently weigh ca.500gr. and can be stored in the smallest camera bag.
The Zuiko 2.8-3.5 / 14-54II's sizes and weight, just adapted yet feasible at the E-M5 and there is slightly better as the new Zuiko2.8 / 12-40.
To which it is around 1cm in diameter and with adapter 2cm longer and 100gr. heavy, this is hardly noticeable.
The teleconverter I use the Sigma 2.8 / 60 results in small picture a 2.8 / 204th
On Zuiko 1.8 / 45 this combination results in a 1.8 / 153 and without loss of quality.
Now I've done it be final or need to do. My orthopedist has triumphed and Olympus.
No more DSLR, even for health reasons, equipment too heavy to cervical operating theaters and, secondly, the positive development in the field of system cameras.
The E-M5 has been victorious and I can honestly say after 2 years.
I am firmly convinced that in not so distant future, this type of camera system camera, the future belongs.
In Japan for more than 50% of this camera type are sold against DSLR, and rising.

+ The picture quality is, who needs to print on non-meter screens or wants or is 200 x its pixels, impressive and absolutely groundbreaking.

~ Also, the kit lens is not bad, Olympus typically better anticipated and super tuned to the PEN or E-M5 as with other manufacturers, in terms of kit lenses.
~ 5.3 to 3.6 aperture of Kitobjektivs is also no problem with the real strong stabilizer and sufficient for many shooting situations.
~ A tip for lack of sun visor: foldable rubber sunshade 52mm who still one of "early" has, works perfectly, polarizing filters can be also screwed in between and folded there at wide angle and no shadowing.
~ Also said chromatic aberrations in these lens are not as big as they are made partially, not at all visible in most Fotoablichtungen and korriegierbar if then with appropriate software by far.
~ As a sealed lens but a great acquisition at a low price in the putty, with just a small lack Kitobjektivs which are correctable.
+ The fixed focal length lenses from Zuiko are indeed always been among the best in the camera / lens area.
~ For flash which I use, Metz 44 AF-1 digital, must be said that the combination of E-M5 + 44AF flash unit or larger devices somewhat conflicting with the camera optics and handling.
~ An average device like the Metz 44AF-1 digital still acceptable, with attached small battery handle a very good unit, borderline without battery grip, larger devices act but oversized and the camera is very Kopflastig, this should be with the entire handle (both parts ) be used.
~ As for the technical part operate all Olympus & Metz flash units on the E-M5 exquisite, tested by me in a friendly photo dealer.
+ - With mounted small or two handle parts and lens 12-50 camera tilts at the park to left on `objective, even with larger lenses.
+ When you photograph it forms a very stable, very well-to-use unit, regardless of whether one or both handle parts, and the camera is great in the hand.
+ - Granted, the camera is not in the discount box, but for me, because I have joy in the Olympus E-M5, it is worth it to me to have bought it.
~ I have to step away from DSLR to system camera no regrets and am since long again very pleased with the results and this now since 2 years.
~ Many will now say a comparison with system camera and DSLR does not work, but, going, courage to leave gaps and time to look objectively at the image quality.
Conclusion:
+ From me, even after 2 years of intensive use, highly recommended and an investment in the future.
Tips and recommendation of mine:
# Complete handle (both parts) for use of large flash units for improved handling of the camera
# Handle, small part, and a flash medium size, for example Metz 44AF-1 digital form a very good unit
# Small handle gives the operator better grip when using the camera is always mounted with me
# Both handle parts mounted very good for vertical shooting suitable and a very nice, stable unit.

# Zuiko 2.8-3.5 / 14-54II for me still the best optics of the Olympus system, AF on the E-M5 much faster as the 12-60 and extremely good imaging performance
# Flash Metz 44AF-1 digital, in my observation, the flash unit with the more feasible size of the camera and delivers perfectly illuminated images.
Remarks:
1)
* For those who had criticized the exemption and potential hang on full frame told
~ Aperture 1.8 ... 2.8 are etc at each camera / lens combination is equal, this means it only changes the picture representation with respect to the sensor, ie the presentation of the motif is halved when Four Thirds sensors camera equivalents.
