- A fabulous design for me the most beautiful phone market currently (June 2012) (although the charging socket is design ..);
- Very light and extremely thin, with ideal screen size (not too big and unwieldy, or not big enough and impractical for web pages): so he will slip into the pocket and knows how to forget;
- Very fast and very responsive, the interface is so perfectly smooth that I installed a ton of application;
- The battery life is good;
- The camera takes photos of very good quality;
- Despite what we read (some regret that it is not HD), the screen resolution is really good (I come from a galaxy s2, and frankly there's progress!) And Brightness is also very good, which is important to see the screen in bright sunlight;
- The overlay HTC is discreet yet convenient;
- Android 4 is very good (but that's not to HTC);
- I've read reviews criticizing instead the start button (the button is pressed to turn surlequel the phone is out of the standby). There are located at the top right of the unit. In reality, I find that this location is quite convenient. It also solves the concern I had with my galaxy s2: when I pressed the power button, I also tend to support my other fingers on the volume buttons (the coup that handed the volume when the phone was silent ..).
- The phone comes with normal atria and non-ear, personally I find it very rude to talk on the phone with in-ear earphones in ears ..;
- With Android, you just plug the phone directly on the PC without installing special software (the driver is automatically installed) to access the hard drive of the phone and thus to photos, videos, documents, put music, add ringtones, wallpapers, be used as USB key, ...
*** False Negatives:
- The LED notification is too quiet, you can not see flash when the phone is in the eye; However this is not a problem with if one installs the NoLED application that puts a small icon on the screen depending on whether you have a missed call, an SMS, etc., associated with the photo of Contact concerned: short, much more practical than led.
- The internal memory is only 16GB and no possibility of memory card, but for my use is more than enough;
- Attention this phone uses the microSIM format as on iPhones, if you free your SIM card is already pre-cut to this format, otherwise it will have to see with your operator, where cut yourself in the right format by following a tutorial on internet .
- The battery is built-in (non-removable) but I do not see how that's a problem, I never had to change the battery in my smartphone.
*** A real downer:
- By cons a big flaw: HTC has not seen fit to put in judging the notification bar to bar for a quick mobile silent, enable or disable wifi, gps, automatic rotation. To do so go to the notification bar, click settings THEN have access to certain commands that I have just described, and yet there are not any. I have trouble understanding that oversight. Fortunately it is possible to put small icons on the home screen, but it takes place at the expense of other applications.
*** Some tips and accuracy:
I would also recommend the application "No Lock", which will remove the unlocking screen and arrive directly on the home screen when pressing the power button, given the number of times you made this gesture in the day this is a very significant time savings. I also advise you to replace the native SMS application that is impractical for Go SMS Pro, use Google Chrome as your browser rather than provide and use SmartKeyboard as pro keyboard: for me the most practical keyboard ever.
I said that despite the fact that I am very appreciative of this phone, I have absolutely nothing to do with HTC or with a marketing firm, my comment is absolutely sincere and disinterested. My conclusion is that I am surprised that this phone has no more success than that given its characteristics.
