For me, the perfect open-world racer

Despite the not so great reviews The crew would be increased and there is absolutely no regrets. Here my Empfingen about some things:

Open World:
What I like most GENUINE OpenWorld concept. Finally a Racer, in which I can go wherever I want and where. Not as a pseudo open-world with a loud restrictions such. B. Forza Horizon 2 and consorts. For The Crew I can sometimes jump down a canyon or go into a lake and perish. No Restrictions. Perfect. The missions and races are very well adapted to the different landscapes. From normal road race rally and off-road racing to hill-climbing events, everything was available.

Setting / Map:
The complete US is of course somewhat exaggerated, the road network is somewhat compressed, but by far the largest map of a racing game to date. Despite the reduction in the United States all the important areas, sites and landscapes of the USA are reproduced beautifully, also the transitions between the regions are fantastic. Many of the roads I traveled in the US itself and have also recognized an incredible amount of US feeling and attractions.

Graphics:
There are of course different claims. The primarily a place value on cars perfectly illustrated or a graphics engine that takes full advantage the system. For me personally, it depends on a realistic and credible overall impression. And here scores The crew in my opinion to the majority of competitors. The graphics are simple, but much more credible and more realistic than for example the revamped plastic landscape at Horizon (please do not be Horizon fans angry, I play Horizon 2 even like to feel it but as I write) 2. When driving through the United States in The Department is located in a beautiful and lively with lots of animals and human world. Although z. B. the cars are not sooo displayed perfectly and textures Ultra Highres are not, the overall impression is a perfect fit for me. Details and resolution are also quite sufficient for me, and I play on screen with 3 meters diagonal.

Control:
Surely far too arcade-heavy, for me but absolutely first class for Simulationsfanatiker, doing well out of hand. The handling on the different road coverings (asphalt, offroad, desert, grassland, snow, black ice, etc.) is different and always well understood.

Story:
The story is of course nothing new, there have been similar. Nevertheless set well and with great cut scenes in scene and fits in well with that derived from the story driving missions. Only the end could be a bit more imaginative. In any case, the story is not so embarrassing and placed as in some other games such as TDU2

Difficulty:
Not overly difficult, but if you want to play through the story, yet nothing for untrained casual gamers.

Replayability / Next Game-value:
After finishing the story, there is massive motivation continue. Many test, faction missions and upgrade the cars do not let a lot and keep a in the game. Or of course, simply enjoy the scenery.

Single Player / Multiplayer:
As a single player you can ignore the multiplayer mode though, but this is fun also. Meanwhile, he also works satisfactorily. Not manage to z. B. times a mission, you can simply invite someone and second, third or fourth drive. If one of them reaches the mission objective, and the other the Mission have passed. Furthermore, there are of course all kinds of fraction and multiplayer events. These are exciting and well implemented. For me, just the game, sometimes to go to challenging races, sometimes only to cruise through the beautiful landscapes of the United States. Now I have already spent far more than 50 hours in it and there are probably even more
