Had just bought for this purpose the camera and also the optional 79-degree lens. Regret to say that the VGA resolution for monitoring an outdoor area absolutely insufficient. This camera is best suited for a Nahfeldüberwachnung up maybe 5 meters, if one still wants to know what. Software and hardware otherwise okay.
