To select so was a new netbook, a tablet with full operating system or a photo backup solution.
There are hard drives with built-in SD card reader, however, very expensive, or no possibility of control. For entertainment on the drive / flight route I would also still need to carry an extra device.
A netbook would have the advantage of combining all functions directly into a device (and a keyboard). Unfortunately, you can not load via USB netbooks, that's stupid when you are camping somewhere in the mountains.
Taking the tablet I can load my Power Bank. I bought this a micro-USB Hub with SD-card reader. With this and the Power Bank can I use the external hard drive to the tablet and easily copy files from the SD card to the hard drive. The tablet allows me also to look at the raw files in their original size and to judge. You can get a micro SD card insert to expand the built-in memory (good for the iTunes library) .Everything has joined me of fun with Hub 2 TB hard drive and Power Bank and shell tasted for tablet under 400. A WD My Passport 2TB Wireless currently stands at 206, but requires further investment.
Benefits:
- Extremely cheap
- Full-function operating system
- Flexible with USB hub
- Load with USB
- Very handy
- Connect via Bluetooth mouse or keyboard
Disadvantages:
- The service is a bit difficult because the resolution is high and not all Windows optimized for touch screens
- The touch screen also seems yoy. a Ipad slower to respond.
