1. Adapter CAN bus:
There are cheap adapter for 5, where you have to draw a line, however, to the fuse box for ignition Plus!
For 50 it give Can-bus adapter that simulate the ignition plus electronically. You have to spend more, but be very burdensome work saves!
2.GPS antenna:
For navigation with the iPhone, the GPS signal is taken from the iPhone and the GPS antenna from the device only serves to signal a stabilieres to have. Prima I thought, because navigating with the iPhone has always worked super, so I let off the GPS antenna, as I do not want to relocate in the interior. But: Without the antenna, the radio do not get time signal and the clock is always wrong!
My temporary solution: The antenna cable wound in figure-eight loops (For safety's sake, so that no coil resistance action results) and bundled with a cable tie, plugged the antenna and all cable and antenna sunk in the installation space behind the radio. Under the dashboard area of the GPS reception is of course very modest, but it is enough, at least in the Golf VI for a half bar reception so that the time can be retrieved and navigation works just fine with the GPS from your phone.
Iphone 3 USB port
Since I use only iPhone, I have laid directly a slightly longer iphone charger cable from the accessories and not the USB extension to. Save some clutter, but has the disadvantage that no Android devices such as function.
My purpose was to be able to comfortably listen to music again, what with the RC-210 was definitely not possible! Lousy sound and MP3 from CD with minimalist Display. This purpose it meets absolutely and the sound is the same boxes clearly better than with the RC-210th
I would buy the device at any time!
