Have this adapter so I bought my Raspberry Pi Model B 2 can connect to my old VGA monitor.
What can I say: unpacked adapter plugged in HDMI port, speakers connected with phone cable and monitor it.
Everything works perfectly.
Video quality: 5/5 Everything is transmitted without loss, films and videos in HD are crystal clear! Top!
Audio Quality: 4/5 Overall, the sound quality is great, but I made with my good boxing and gemutetem sound (eg film silently) a light, repeating crack resistant, which I think, however, be negligible, as it in not so good pit or sound output is not heard.

A total of 5 star and strong buy recommendation! At this price, unbeatable!

Oh yes, the Raspi delivery even with my only 1.2A power supply enough power through the HDMI port. From demher the separate power connection is (which, incidentally, is a microUSB and is nowhere mentioned in the description) does not need me. But to always have a good;)
