I have not purchased the monitor as a second screen for a laptop but as "main screen" for a desktop (Shuttle Barebone XPC SH67H3), I go used instead of laptops because of its better performance at the hotel. All comments the other reviewers are submitted for all properly considered. Was decisive for me and if I easily (via USB and without power cord) receive useful representations and for me the result is satisfactory to adequate. The but you can not rate, since the value is in the eye of the beholder. The only disadvantage in this context - it has no built-in speakers, which I needed because I usually edit movies.
A (big) problem has been found in retrospect. As described above, I use this monitor for space and cable reasons for traveling as the main screen. The screen turns off (if configured correctly - not trivial) only from the Windows logon Logo one. This means should for any reason in the BIOS a change must be carried out or not acceptable because of driver issues the screen, you are powerless and again rely on a normal monitor. To be fair, you have to say, for the intended purpose of my monitor was not designed.
