This volume V is less exciting than the previous ones, in my opinion, because of the chicken monster ridiculous start and an excess of details on people where our heroes are too long absent. But it is always very well written, reveals the encyclopedic knowledge of the author and his imagination that allows him to constantly renew his stories. T. Goodkind does not have much sympathy for democracy, but there is always wrong? Besides an author necessarily puts his heart, feelings and personal opinions in his work: we must admit and éventuellemen override. Fortunately, after that things go from bad to worse as always, the end is beautiful, as always - we wait and hope - and the Revenge of Dalton Campbell particularly subtle and enjoyable.
