The face value of formerly 399, - is quite hard!
but by the price reduction to 299, - and offers from 222, - fit price / performance now well together.
I wanted the smallest possible PC speakers without a subwoofer that my 99 - Philips 2.1 PC sound system replaced by several unboxing videos, I knew that my (subjective), the Companion 20 is too large. So the really small BOSE MM were asked.
Materials, workmanship and design are really good. The MusicMonitor® act really very high and noble.
Who buys the principle Ideal Home ", comes fully at its expense.
There's really little vendors who are able to offer a (barely existing) size with the good stuff.

There are certainly larger speakers, the sound just then even better, but I wanted to stop the smallest possible LS and since the BOSE MM sound really good.
The Music Monitor are designed for laptop or IPad, not to spread the sound to 60m2 rooms .. so many negative comment is difficult to see in the small dimensions.
I can in any case recommend for normal volume on the PC the BOSE MM.
Volume and sound are very good for me (based on the size) and subjectively better than our BOSE SoundLink2.
And yes, the MM also sound in the bass area better than our Philips 2.1 PC system.
("BOSE-bashing" is great not to be in fashion, unsettling - try it for yourself and do not forget their original intended purpose, who sits 1 meter in front of his iPad or PC, gets good sound at normal volume of high-quality and easy -da to be placed very small - stereo speakers).
We consider whether we still connect a pair MusicMonitor® our third TV - through the stereo sound concept, the MM determined better than a mini soundbar and a remote control is also included.
