--- Sound ---
For me, the most important category, and if in doubt the only selling point.
The basses are pleasant presence, but do not look overcrowded as bsp. at the lower beats. For listeners with more pronounced bass preference these headphones is only recommended conditionally, because it lacks the warmth in the other areas. The mids and highs are withdrawn slightly and sound, as another reviewer already wrote, as heard through a veil. The whole sound seems as if the music from afar. For playback is generally quite clear, which is not always offer more expensive models. At high Lautsärke also some is added to distortion. Overall, this is not a listening experience that personally prepares fun to me. For this price, but you should not expect more safely - but the sound is still above average. As I presented the listener and the donee is not exactly an audiophile bean counters, is the sound okay. Overall, in consideration of the price of 3 stars.
--- --- Processing
Here no worlds are moving, but meets all basic requirements. Overall, the handset acts (in white) manufactured properly, the pad see for example better than one might expect. In places, the SHO looks a bit cheap, but who expects valuable materials here, is not served by such an affordable model anyway. The build quality is solid and stable effect, which can be said also about the adjustment. The cable length is more than adequate for everyday iPod / mobile phone use. Therefore 4 stars here.
--- Comfort ---
Pre-listening has pushed and wiggled nothing, the listeners sat firmly but unangehm firmly. It is striking that the pads are quite thin and firm, the longer listening so I would expect an uncomfortable seat. With the single-sided cable management a practical feature is built, I would not expect in this price range. But I forgive 4 stars.
All in all, I forgive 3 stars, because the sound is the decisive criterion.
Can I issue a buy recommendation? Yes for all who want to have a decent headphones for a very small budget and do not make high demands on the sound. Those who want powerful bass and a pleasant warm sound without much distortion, I would advise to look for a used Sony MDR XB-500. He is no longer manufactured, but for me was in its price range one of the best headphones. If you prefer and even less distortion tolerated a bit more neutral reproduction, may like to try the Philips Downtown, at least equivalent to the original series these criteria. Currently it is available depending on the color for a few euros more than the Fantec. Of the quite popular Sony MDR 600 and AKG K518 I advise. Both cost about as much as the Downtown, but cut in the comfort and in sound at least in my opinion worse.
