What I wanted for the smallest possible price:
- Surround Sound
- Beautiful, deep bass
- A better sound than the TV
- A 3D Blu Ray Player
I was already 2 days after the order the bulky package home. Everything is very securely packed for transport so that nothing can scratch or break. This has ever made a good impression, and Sony has collected pluses with me.
There is a Quick Start Guide to install the sound system - all very easy and done within minutes. Only unpacking took a while, but what good is my Übervorsichtigkeit. In total, there are 8 parts: 4 boxes, 1 front speaker, 1 subwoofer, 1 3D Blu Ray Player and 1 remote control.
The boxes and co. are fairly easy - not a good sign for the sound, but it was clear that you do not get cinema quality for the price. Another negative point: The cable of the rear speakers are long, but not long enough for my 30m². Since I will have to look for an extension as long as I have one of the two boxes for Blu Ray look before or after that pick away again ask.
Fired up the unit for the first time and it starts a quick installation, in which everything essential is included. Less than 2 minutes later I immediately dropped the first Blu Ray - and was really pleasantly surprised. Only the sound of the main menu of the film impressed me! It sounds clear, the subwoofer works properly and the bass rumble. In electronics shop of my confidence was told that the plant would never be sufficient for 30m². However, the part volume already hammered halfway so much that my neighbor came to ask 1 floor below me sometimes nice if everything is ok (!);) Nonsense So, for 30m² perfectly adequate.
The player itself harmonizes wonderfully with the way Sony TVs. I own a BRAVIA Sync and could both, so I can now use the new remote control for the TV and do not always need two. In addition, the device has Bluetooth, you can easily connect your smartphone or your computer so neat and listening to music.
The player moves even without the super fast start-up function up quickly (I would recommend to all, otherwise the fan runs after a power cycle a little further, which can annoy, if you want to sleep). The picture is sharp and the first few films were without stuttering through. What could possibly interfere, the light is the bottom of the player during the movie. I have not looked to see whether you can correct this and have something first placed before it.
Summary:
My expectations were completely fulfilled. The system sounds better than the TV, you can enjoy full surround sound and for little money. The bass rumble and the boxes drown absolutely satisfactory for a 30m² room. A star deduction is available for the cable of the rear speakers - a little longer they could have been.
Who wants to have a 3D Blu Ray Player anyway plus beautiful surround sound, which is well served with this package!
