We tried several varieties of colored pencils. Cheap crayons break most quickly and are pricked in a very short time down. Others are not good in the hand and the children get on hot days and when a lot of paint blistered fingers. Others give poorly color because the mine is much too hard and you have to press hard for the color looks good, which in turn can break mine faster.
In the end we are stuck with Faber Castell.
1. draw soft and give good color.
2. You are well in hand and even small roux fingers do not slip off from or get blisters.
3. They can sharpen well and not break off so quickly.
4. (and that was ultimately decisive) These pins are available individually in any well-stocked stationery store nachzukaufen, so you do not always need the same to buy a new package pins, just because the red, yellow and green are and again all Brown is once again disappeared. We also have bought later a few special colors "urgently" needed, especially our daughter: gold, and silver color. ; O)
5. The name field is very important because these pens have a lot of children in the class, so there can be no confusion and the child recognizes its own pens in the Fund box more quickly. We also still sticking colorful tape around the pins to mark it.
A tad more practical I still find the erasable crayons from Faber Castell, but there are not turn individually at.
