Free Jazz?

Who will free jazz great, please do not continue. (Each to be happy in his own way). Who is already fan needs anyway no reviews. If I had my Lumix with had yesterday evening in the theater in Gütersloh on the WDR Jazz Night, direct radio broadcast, I would now place a video review. So 1. I know the CD only by listen. Pablo knew so far only by Picasso. Pablos occupation on the CD presented here is a completely different, and when I read the two other reviews I can imagine that this is an exciting disc. Although Johannesburg angle drumt also everything in land and slow pieces are boring but the fans will not disturb.
2. The Glow Group of yesterday consisted of the trio plus the Austrians Muthspiel on guitar and John Enders ts, from southern Germany. People individually have to endure quite. So I was happy again * to experience the new generation of Free Jazz. Experience is however different because unfortunately played the highly talented musicians (not ironically) messed up, against each other but not with each other. Free Jazz up. In the field of free jazz: eg Doldinger, Hampel, Schoof, Mangelsdorf, Dauner, Stockhausen, Kriegel etc and also Int. Pioneers such as Archie Shepp. I have experienced them all live. (Some involved). The "boys" of last night seem a bit strained against the golden oldies and music they have on existing inflict nothing interesting. Sorry.
The second act last night there was a Tribute to John Coltrane. Yo, but there was the hard bop from post. Azar Lawrence TS, Clemenes Salesny as, bcl, Clemens Pliem ts, fl, piano Benito Gonzales showed what modern jazz and may still be. Grandiose! in the combo performance in individual Coltrane Compositions.
The WDR Big Band played from 00.05 clock with Bob Mintzer into the night. Solid big band jazz peppered with small highlights. Despite everything, a beautiful evening. Much heard learned seen.
