Three young historians (hence my title) become neighbors Sophia Simeonidis, former great opera singer. The whole history of the world united under one roof.
But one day, she discovers in his garden a young beech that was not there the day before, and everyone who cares (well almost). Shortly after, she disappears. Did not count the godfather of one of the young historians, who is an ex-cop and who still has a good relationship.
The plot is introduced and we let ourselves throughout history, up to a surprising ending.
Writing Vargas is light, simple, but well-structured, giving us a policeman worthy of Agatha Christie. I think it will become a reference in the world of detective fiction, if not already done.
