Fuji Polaroid camera on principle, very interesting: a good effort Fuji doubt.

Users of digital cameras (Canon and Leica Vlux2 G7X) but also classics (Nikon F, FM and Nikkormat), I admit I always liked the principle of Kodak Polaroid (2 still in stock and functional) and have even tested the papers " Impossible Project "with a bit of disappointment. In short, it was a moment that I wanted to test the Instax Wide range but size (large format).
I bought this last model in another sign near my home and I am now on my third series of photos (3 pack of 10).
Commissioning with supplied batteries and the little doc is ultra simple and short, 5 minutes max.
Some settings: on the lens ring of 0-3 m and 3m to infinity, simple to understand and activate the Dial Lens.
At the back of the device, a button can force the flash, two small displays allow the account to have photos taken and manage a normal exposure, darker or lighter, a small classic side-view window allows to have roughly an idea of ​​his equally faithful framing or better than the old Polaroid.
The establishment of the cartridge of the photos is intuitive, enhanced by arrows and lines of color, very simple and basic brief.
I tested inside and outside in all weather and type of lumonisité. Excellent results with a surprising dive quality, nothing to do with the effects sometimes surreal colors Polaroid therefore.
The flash seemed effective up to 1m, 1.50m after the results were more random but I'm at the beginning of the use of the device.
Beware of vertical photographs taken with flash, this one being right side of the unit and the left side viewing window, it should pay attention to the lighting that will bring you the flash and do not have a annoying object at the forefront in the field. Depending on your frame and the ecombrement aapareil one can be fooled. So blunder so that the flash light is not stopped by on its path object which causes a drop shadow that can ruin your shot.
The size of the image that appears completely in 2/3 min max is 10.7 x 8.5 cm for the frame with a picture of about 9.6 x 6 cm so almost the size Polaroid size (8 x 8 ).
Issue size, the Fuji Instax Wide 300 imposes: a good 20 cm long and 12 cm high 12 cm in off mode and 14 cm in lit version deployed goal. The weight is bearable but I recommend the use of both hands to keep well and bear it.
A small bidulon provided theoretically allows to make close-up shots (0.30 to 0.50 cm) but I have not installed and tested.
A basic but adequate strap is supplied with the device having on its bottom, right side, a screw thread for a tripod not supplied.
Ray small defects, virtually all plastic design, probably made to reduce weight, do not portend a rock solid, I noted that without adequate storage bag (Fuji proose one to one not given price), the power button is activated very quickly and the device turns on and displays its objective at the bottom of your bag. Also twice the deployed objective has partially stuck diagonally in the same bag by an effect "on" and I spread myself, "stop" and I try to fall back ... but blocked by clothing or in a bad position, I block me completely!
He agrees not to panic and not to force the lens ring but to play on / off button while gently forcing the target to resume normal angle and then, miraculously, it is feared worse, but RAS!
Depending on the number of packs of 10 pictures that you will buy (from 1 to 10 through 2, 3, 5 etc.) and your retailer, the cliché returns between 0.80 to 1.30 the picture, so it is worth blow to thoroughly research these purchases.
I have not found a single type of Films available Fuji (gloss and color type) and after a half months, the developed photographs were unchanged. In short, I found the pleasure of instant photos with this camera and also especially pleased to offer few minutes later!
In the end, the whole family has adopted this Instax Wideavec great pleasure for very nice results and disappointing not value at all, far from it!

PS: What a shame that Fuji has not yet created packs of Instax Polaroid film adapted to older models too. It would make a splash as the cost of the films "Impossible Project" nearly two euros for lengthy shots (10 to 30 min) and protected from light, are still prohibitively expensive and disappointing reports to super Results of papers and range equipment Instax.
