We tested the mouse on a Mac with OSX 10.9 and at a Win7 machine, is used in the mouse Win8.
The delivery was fast and the packaging of the mouse is also set up appealing and interesting. The mouse is very nicely decorated and I personally like visually better than the "original" - the Magic Mouse. The workmanship is neat, however, the mouse feels a little too easy to if you're used to the MM. Otherwise, the mouse fits comfortably in your hand. The palm rests on the base, so you can perform gestures cramp free. The clicking sound of the mouse is something deep and sound a little hollow, which I personally do not like, but is not disturbing.
The Unifying receiver can be conveniently stored in the battery compartment of the mouse.
Batteries are included and so the mouse with the supplied receiver under Windows can be put directly into operation. For advanced settings of gesture control you need to install the software even further. Much options however, are not offered; for example the possibility for horizontal scrolling in front and back to use, or a two-finger click to invoke the Start menu and a few others.
For smooth scrolling with no jumps, as one knows it from the Smartphone, an official Logitech plugin must be installed in each browser, which, however, is definitely worthwhile because of the pleasant scroll behavior.
And now a comparison with the Magic Mouse. Since I as a productive system use a Mac and there the Magic Mouse have learned to appreciate and this can not use them properly under Windows, had to be an alternative.
In order to obtain a direct comparison I have the mouse connected parallel to the Magic Mouse in OS X, but here it soon became clear that the mouse is not designed for Mac, since neither gestures work, even scrolling smoothly as the Magic Mouse is implemented and there is simply no software for Mac.
On Windows 8 computer with the appropriate software, the mouse could prove to be provided in their area. The mouse is relatively precise, the Magic Mouse but offers a higher resolution on the touch area, which manifests itself subtly noticeable when scrolling. General provides the MM a little "finer" operation.
Meanwhile, the mouse is also used to scroll horizontally in Photoshop and other graphics programs because of its ability. a feature that I do not want to miss!
Anyone familiar with the Magic Mouse in Mac, Windows will not be disappointed by the M600, if you do not expect a 1to1 same product for a much lower price. (Magic Mouse M600 60 to 15)
A star I pull from, however, since there is still a little room for improvement in software options and some wertigerer Haptikt.
Otherwise, one can say that the mouse is worth the money and a definite buy recommendation.
