The lamps themselves are outwardly perfectly identical to the recessed lamps (fluorescent tube) that I had before. However, they are about 1 cm shorter.
Delivered the lamp, fastening clips and a power cord. To operate as a single lamp that will do just fine, will you (like me) Attach a lamp and a lamp above the bottom of the mirror, you still need a connecting cable. This can not be ordered from the same supplier, which I think is a shame, unfortunately.
Use for all those who already recessed lamps with other lamps: It fit the old cables, that is, the connections are the same. The lamps fit with me in the old clips that Schrauberei stayed so pretty limited.
If the lamp visible dissuaded, one has to, not evenly distributed over the lamps, used lighting. Looks quite funny, a bit like rings. Hidden attached (eg behind a pane of frosted glass) one notices no difference to a fluorescent tube. The light is maybe a little white, but still very pleasant.
The lamps burn with us in continuous operation, ie in the dark winter months the evening about 7 hours. An on / off via a separate switch, the switch on the lamp are permanently ON.
Some reports I had read before, not to be particularly well the lamp switch. All I can say anything, but there is the same switch as for "normal" cabinet luminaires, are probably also have the same quirks.
The interesting question is now actually be how long do the lamps. Therefore, there is that this is only 4 stars. If replacement of bulbs is possible, I could not find, I did not want to dismantle the same, the new lamp.
Addendum 03.01.2015:
The lights are now almost 2 years in use and there has been no failures. Thus they have the one star more deserved in assessing well.
