My choice fell on the Walimex WT-806 lamp tripods Set with Carrying Case. Today the delivery has arrived. A large outer box, in addition to packaged air three more boxes. Therein is a black carrying bag (almost exactly 1 meter long, plastic-coated fabric) with an adjustable strap.
In each carrier bag was then a tripod with a warning-list (for the suspension). Manual is not in, but you do not need. There's nothing to go wrong.
The tripods are set up jiffy. The quick-release fasteners require a 1/4 turn (= 90 °), they can also be readjusted. The maximum working height I could not measure on the fly, but (the specified value should agree) extends in a normal apartment to just below the ceiling. The minimum working height (when fully unfolded legs) is 113 cm to the top of the stand (without any accessories). While we're on the measure: the folded legs give a triangle with sides of length 96 cm, to estimate the space required. The specified minimum working height of about 98 cm can only be achieved if the legs are not fully extended. One then comes to about 70 cm in the triangle.
For attaching the lights / flashes / holder etc. standard spigot is 1/4-inch thread. So you're already pretty flexible. Furthermore, as well as an adapter with a 3/8-inch thread is still depending, you simply can screw it. So you can then easily such as a tripod head screw (I use always with 3/8 "thread, is much more stable). This adapter is not mentioned in the description, but very practical.
The legs have rubber feet. Immediately unpack who smelled even after rubber, the smell (not strong) but was gone after a few minutes.
The first tests today, with dedicated flash and Walimex 2-in-1 reflector / light umbrella (109 cm) white with the Phottix Varos BG Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder or Phottix HS Speed Mount with the Phottix softbox 70x100cm with Bowens connection went absolutely satisfactory. Handling and stability are better than me. This should be with studio flashes and accessories also so.
I think I'll have lots of fun with the tripods.
From me therefore a clear buy recommendation with 5 *****
PS: the folded reflector umbrella fits perfectly in addition to the transport bag next to the tripod
