'The Maze' is a hidden object adventure game, and as usual hidden object adventure, one must also here in all the objects find all hidden items, solve brain teasers and combine the adventure part of objects in a meaningful way to get ahead.
The hidden objects are useful embedded in the story, do not repeat themselves and are generally fairly easy to solve. You just have to find the hidden objects, additional actions for this are not necessary. The difficulty level is fair, even when hiding a red object against a red background, you can discover it with a bit of a closer look. Only a translation error bothers a telescope is not a pair of binoculars.
The adventure part convinced with logical puzzles. The difficulty here begins at very low, rises during the game, but as a whole remains low; the solution to the riddle suggests itself not always clear, however, if one has thought briefly. Who stuck anyway, either can search the automatically written notebook for clues, look on the map, in which there is room to do anything else, and thanks to quick travel feature also go there equal, or use the rechargeable Help function.
The brainteaser vary from super easy and medium difficulty, but can be skipped after a short waiting time at all. Some of these puzzles are but concrete instructions would have wished.
The story is well told and remains exciting until the very end, which is situated on two points: Firstly, here add the whole puzzle, a reasonable and not act as if they were only there for to deal with the player, on the other hand is the Antagonist good hit, the players while still ahead, but not godlike adversary against which you can not do anything anyway.
Weaknesses of the game are slightly outdated graphics, with about three hours relatively short playing time and widescreen support missing.
Thanks to the low level of difficulty suitable 'The Maze' primarily for beginners, but the game is now to have low, make Hidden veterans here can not go wrong.
