It is pleasant to wear (while Cordura pants often chafe or rub), hot and cold weather pleasant, remains even in wind and rain resistant (waxed perfectly well without chemicals) and in addition looks good.
Since I did not understand the difference between the Barents and the Barents Pro, I can both come and this is the result:
- The Barents Pro has preformed, close-cut legs, which is a "sportier" her character and an even better fit.
- The Pro has a slightly lower waist and pleats omitted (as it has the normal Barents), which makes them appear as the top sporty, without letting it be inconvenient or impractical.
- The Pro has not insertion openings for knee pads at the reinforced knees, the Barents.
Ultimately, that's why I chose the Barents Pro, even if it is slightly more expensive than the Barents.
Your money are both pants because of comfort, functionality and durability in any case worth it!
