A great design, combining a wall charger for multiple mobile devices with a plug adapter. The charger is equipped with four USB ports 5V different amperage: the two upper ports of 1.0A (for mobile, iPhone), the bottom two of 2.4A (for tablets, iPad). The European decision is removable (by pulling the power plug out of the body of the charger), revealing a flat pin plug North American standard (so good for US and Canada). The charger accepts a 100 to 240V input load (50/60 Hz) which, of course, is necessary to accommodate different electrical currents of Europe and North America. It delivers a full load speed for four devices simultaneously (the manual says a DC output up to 34W). It complies with CE, FCC and RoHS. The manual use is short but clear enough, in five languages (English, German, French, Spanish and Italian).
This travel charger is well made, sturdy and with a quality finish in white or black plastic. When connected, a small blue LED lights to indicate the power is on. To keep the size down to a minimum, the USB ports are very close together. Highly portable and compact in a suitcase.
This charger works as expected, and does not heat. During my tests, it really load very fast, comparable with the best smart chargers I have evaluated. The price (under 19) is very reasonable. Very useful for people who travel between Europe and North America but also perfectly suitable for everyday use at home.
