In this book, David brings together some of the chronic and recipes presented on its successful blog, with much unreleased in the texts. Revenues have also been completely reworked and rewritten for this item. The book is organized into chapters, each ending with one or two very detailed revenue, according to the presentation that it already employs in his blog.
David Lebovitz tells here his arrival in Paris from San Francisco, his disappointments and discoveries, enchantments and disappointments on the big things as in small. He knows our highlight through an amused look irresistible, which certainly much to learn French than American on all those little oddities that inhabit our habits. His style is full of "wit" (caustic and biting humor) but often tender (except to his doctor and others it is true, and so much better, it's hilarious: D). It is also felt in the way he speaks of France a true love for this country, strangeness included.
It is in short a delightful work from all points of view (the chocolate cake is to die Therese of many sweet and savory delights!) Where the author invites you to laugh with him discovering what may be your country a fresh look yet accomplice D.
One complaint: The book is printed on American paper ... Fully bouffant black and white. The quality of images is strongly feels and that's a shame. When will a new edition of this great book on glossy paper and especially in color? This is the only reason why I do not put 5 stars to this product.
