We learn many things without it is never boring. The book sweeps an incredible number of topics in political philosophy and in economics without ever "dusty lecture." Cutting current independent chapters then subsections can play piecemeal between several metro stations.
And then there are the illustrations, comics diverted really found.
The large format (A4) a little surprising at first for a political book but it makes the airy reading. The book is clearly advocating liberalism, but it gives a good picture of the historical path leading to liberal ideas.
It will appeal to people who are not necessarily liberal, even if they do not agree with everything, they understand the logic and find some interesting anecdotes. And for the Liberals, they will discover surprising things they did not know on liberalism, especially the crisis.
