About me and my purchase decision:
I been playing for about 15 years rapid and / or graphically demanding games - FPS to Moba. And I have input lag and tearing always extremely disruptive, and the fact that you will always be only one of two going, always perceived as unattractive. So as a solution in the form of G-Sync and a reasonably affordable compatible monitor is within reach, I did not hesitate long.
for processing:
Since there is not much to say - acting all around solid. No dead pixels, no noise during operation.
for Panel:
I personally like TN panels - even better than their IPS brethren - and such is indeed installed in this screen. The reaction time is sublime in the face of 144Hz beyond doubt and must not be further discussed here. When color display that looks unfortunately somewhat different: even after hours of tweaking the settings in the OSD of the screen and the Nvidia driver I still look for example on my former (on another monitor) predominantly black background image that is now predominantly anthracite. Fortunately that falls only occasionally while of gaming. But this I subtract a half star. However, the backlight works smoothly.
for G-Sync implementation:
I have gambled now has 2 weeks on the part and still blockbusting. No more tearing, no V-sync typical stuttering, no noticeable input lag. Everything is just insane liquid ... it seidenn that FPS fall times under 30 because then G-Sync switches off what actually not bad and after reading some technical details also makes sense - but unfortunately you can see it. The panel appears here once easily flare up for a split second. This is lt. Of various forums probably a G-Sync typical problem. A sufficiently powerful graphics card provided - - Fortunately that happens almost only in menus and loading screens of games. I am not quite clear whether Nvidia can fix the described flicker with a driver update, whether the built-in this display panel and / or the electronics are just not good enough, or whether the phenomenon is entirely unavoidable in adaptive sync techniques. It bothers me, anyway - and for that I draw from a half star.
Conclusion:
Although I'm not entirely satisfied with the Panel and with the "G-Sync flickering" (I hope I get used easily to both) for me outweigh the positive aspects of this monitor. Dererlei perceptions are of course extremely subjective - but each, the tearing and input lag just go against the grain like me, I can only advise to try it. As fluid as in this screen I've certainly never gambled, and next time I'm on a trial basis G-Sync switch off and operate the monitor at 60Hz, I wonder now how I have so far endured ever. So overall: Thumbs up.
