The new cadence sensor is supplied with three different sized rubber bands, which should make it possible to attach it to almost any pedal crank. The position is almost unlimited, as the sensor has to be fixed along the crank, each full revolution of the crank per accelerometer ("Accelerometer") measures - just like a smartphone can determine immediately whether the smartphone on edge or transversely retained. After two sensor turns a small LED in the sensor on for five seconds long flashing green and the Hit Rate Sensor is ready for coupling with the fitness device (in our case, Forerunner 920XT or Edge 510). After primary and unique coupling with the fitness equipment, the sensor next time is automatically ready for use. If the sensor battery / will be empty, an LED flashes red after two revolutions. The self-replaceable CR2032 battery should hold for a year, when the sensor is one hour a day in operation. As might be expected, the sensor should be impervious to water and can withstand a water pressure as in 10 meters water depth (manufacturer information).
We are excited (eg from your racer to Treckingrad) and for correct operation must not be adjusted by the simplicity of the sensor, which can be changed in seconds simply and easily from bike to bike. The 8-shaped double-O-ring is hooked into the strong holders of the sensor and promises not to be cut off at the slightest Astberührung the wheel. If the O-ring tear at one point, the second O of the rubber ring holds the sensor firmly yet - a clever double assurance.
The sensor is at least compatible with the Garmin sport watches FR 910XT / 920XT, fenix 2/3, Edge 500, 510, 800, 1000, more accurate and complete on the manufacturing side of Garmin.
