I'll send back the unit and will try it with another order. If the instrument then work as expected, what I given the convincing reviews but suppose I'll adjust my ratings.

An employee of the company Anker has turned mailed to me and offered me to receive a replacement device.
I have experienced in my existence consumers much bad customer support and also a little very good, but that the company anchor is in my eyes really stands out!

Unfortunately, I have the second attempt to use the unit, noted that already the second USB socket has failed! In a charged device (mobile battery) it still works, no longer after plugging in my phone. Even with other devices and cables now works this socket is no longer, so it is not due to cell phone or cable. 2 defective sockets shortly after receipt, which I find problematic.
Now I can only hope that this is really just a Monday specimen that even individual cases are few other reviews that talk about similar after a while problems and that the replacement, which was promised me, as expected - and at least 2 years - working properly. Otherwise I'm going to ask for a refund.
Previous impression thus: Support exceptionally good product very deficient.
If necessary, I will add my vote again.

I have received a replacement unit today. Unfortunately, it has been when first using the same defect as the first copy ordered: to 4 sockets invites my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, one seems to be defective.
So 2 copies, 2x5 bushes, which in total within a short time (and after a few attempts) 3 defective sockets.
So good and kind of customer service is also and even if I might just have bad luck: I can unfortunately not be awarded more than 2 stars because it's all about the product, not the customer.
Because of reviews on various devices anchor is for me really a quality brand. Unfortunately, confirm the two devices that I have received, not. Perhaps there is sometime a successor device in which not these troubles.

After I had my SGS 3 fully charged in one of the working USB jacks (right next to the broken) and used for some time, I wanted to again fully charged. Unfortunately, I realized that even here the 2nd socket is already broken. It seems to me so far in front almost as could invite only unit 1x each bush and when they would go it reliably. I now just try the 3 jack of the new device, yet it is loaded. We'll see if this will then give up the ghost.
Many very positive reviews of the device can probably only mean that I have bad luck with these 2 copies. The only explanation for such a great alternative Average I do not want to put in the room now.
Irrelevant of good support, I prefer now even a star on because obviously that gradually the USB ports give up the ghost, makes the device medium and long term probably useless.
Although anchor perhaps rightly has a good name, I do not currently know if I will, given the experience of these two specimens access again to a device of this company.

The company Anker has performed the reversal also the replacement device straightforward, knowledgeable and friendly. If it were here to support, I would not hesitate to give 5 star
It is kindly been confirmed a very competent acting assistant after some tests and customer surveys to this apparently already known failure mode possible that bad or defective cable and / or defective be charged devices swell above the maximum value of 3A the output current of the charger and that fuses then the continued use of the respective socket prevent. Also, of course, can not be entirely ruled out that not in some devices a backup was already defective at the factory.
Since my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini with other devices and with various cables (old and new, high quality and cheap) was previously well charged without the charger gave up the ghost and started to burn something, I do not know why the product of a well-known brand as anchor by the same device and the same cables should be destroyed.
Perhaps precisely because of this charger is very well secured (though there is I think an assessment, the reports of overheating and smoke!) And for security seals off where others charge more.
As told me but none of my chargers is yet flown around the ears, only because - perhaps - my phone or my cable might be defective.
But one should not the day known chickens before they hatch ...
Too bad - I would have to use a multi-charger good as me going everywhere lying around, individual chargers with different capacities for different devices right on your nerves.
Possibly I now order me a competing product which, although also has several USB ports, but no "IQ", so no recognition of the required charging current. Well, the main thing is probably that it is charging equipment!
