Word, Excel, PowerPoint, everybody knows these great standard. The 2007 version was already innovating, the 2010 version has been further improved. The big news on versions 2007/2010 is OneNote and is frankly successful. This is more than a tool for taking notes: It can certainly make the layout simple, but so effective. No need to register, does it for you. You have deleted your document inadvertently. No worries, there lies a copy in a folder next to the NoteBook file. You are not too organized, it provides a simple framework: Created a NoteBook, then a section and finally a page. But you classify pages under tree forms at two levels in addition. The muste is automatic synchronization when you decided to have your notebook to an external hard disk to ensure your mobility. Ideal between your work and your home. Once your drive is connected, it recognizes it and synchronizes itself. Want to share a page. No problem, there is a top right button that send mail. a .mht file is created (Microsoft HTML): it can be opened by recent versions of Internet Explorer without any worries. In short, it's your secondary memory: a real gem. It is my opinion that it is ideal for a student. You can always look for a free solution, but often the stability and compatibility of formats from one tool to another is very approximate. I would love to complete this office suite with Visio tools that Microsoft bought it a few years ago (allows for diagrams), but it is far too expensive. The Visio tools should be integrated into the Office suite. The drawing tool in Word is much too limited.
