Address Unknown describes the correspondence of two different men, intimate friends and business partners in the years 1932 to 1934. The Jew remains in the US, the Germans are attracted back home. Initially everything seems fine, but it quickly becomes clear that the Jew considers the development in Germany with concern. Katherine Kressmann Taylor's epistolary novel Address Unknown appeared in 1938 in a US-American magazine, then needed but for decades to become known in Europe. The novel is one of the most impressive and most depressing stories at all for me. While reading it I had a lump in my throat and put the book aside after completing thoughtfully. The resulting reading goosebumps and the oppressive feeling subsided only slowly and I thought at the time repeatedly, as it would be if this book would be read. The 2012 published audio book has the text of the novel all the more pleasurable.

ZYX Music has succeeded Matthias Brandt and Stephan Schad two outstanding actor and spokesman win whose voices you can not elude. Tied to hear them as they give by means of the spoken word but also unspoken the novel a unique atmosphere. Brandt and malicious meet under the direction of Jürgen Fritsche to the point just the right tone, set or break a deep breath in the spotlight.

60 minutes (!) That make the horrors of the time available in which joy, hope and fear of the voices of the speakers clear emerge, can be an experience the audio book and captivate the audience.
