As a fan of the more harder pace of four Canadians I was the remark of the old drummer Ryan Vikedale, in which he referred to the new album as "Ballady" not happy. But I found the quieter pieces on the previous album "The Long Road "simply too lame. While the tunes were quite nice but the lyrics were too awkward and clumsy for my taste. So I put the new plate with mixed feelings in the CD player - has wrongly as demonstrated perfectly the very first preview! Not only does it neatly goes with songs like "Fight For All The Wrong Reasons", "Animals" or "Someone That You're With" down to business, but also the ballads (z. B. "Savin 'Me", " Far Away "and" If Everyone Cared ") have convinced me this time. Although I agree with the previous speaker in so far that I had absolutely nothing to object against an album completely without ballads. But if the ballads turn out like this, I take it but very happy to accept it. Hence my conclusion: Five stars for a thoroughly successful mixture of great ballads and "proper" rock numbers Or to put it in the words of the new drummer Daniel Adair. "This is definitely the most diverse NB album yet, there's the heaviest songs the Band's ever done, and there's the most melodic, I think there's something for everybody on it. "
