I have for a month the Ego 727 and am impressed by the image quality. However, since it is my first ActionCam, this statement is subjective. I use the first person on the motorcycle.
The build quality is solid and clean. The operation is easy to learn. With the iOS app on my iPad 1 I could connect me immediately with the ego and easy configuration of settings. The app is now also adjusted the iPad.

In general, I can associate myself with the positive and negative comments of my predecessors.

However, everyone should know before buying that the Ego 727 stops with the latest firmware 3.2.1.0 after about 28 minutes of recording. In the forums you read it even with older firmware, but nowhere a solution or a comment by Liquid Image. I hope that a firmware update solves the problem, especially here speaks a comment by Sebastian Kramer 90 Minutan recording.

Unfortunately, the ego take a film while it is being charged via USB. On bike I can imagine the situation.

If the problem is solved with the recording length, I am very satisfied with the Ego 727 and would then fully recommend.

Addendum 02:05:13;
Got today from Support a link to the firmware 3.3.1.0 and installed. Now the ego continuously record in 30min segments. The comments of the predecessor I have found a clue to record while USB is loaded;

I just found that I can not delete the app individual images or movies. The trash there is indeed with the appropriate warning that deleting is irreversible, but the data from the microSD are not deleted. Is probably a bug and fixed in the next FW. Would be perfect.

Nevertheless, I am very satisfied!
