Amo advertises "almost like Peroxidreiniger" and refers to the good bacteria killing. However Ökotest is currently (2014) more to a different conclusion and will award only one "good" in this area. There are all-in-one cleaner already in the field are therefore better. If you generally look at the test results, it is also true, however: the All-In-One solutions are all rather modest. There is neither a winner nor a single product comprising at least one "good" would ... Satisfactory and Poor's here rather standard. Revitalens is not the worst cleaners, just like many others only "satisfactory" ..
In other words, test results help here not really help because there is no clearly better there.
The lenses must be cleaned mechanically. So put on your palm and few drops from Complete up. Then lightly with your index finger (or little finger) 20 seconds per side rub. Some say circular, my fitter had told me only in one direction. Rinse lentils, fill the lens case, lens clean, finished. The lenses should normally 6h are the solution if you have them take out earlier times is also not bad. That's just the good in this combination cleaners. If you take them out again, briefly rinse with Complete or with saline and ready. Lens case with Complete dump and leave to dry opened.
You can see the contact lenses in between fooled for 1-2h if you were perhaps long on the plane etc. road and evening then again wants to be fit and wants to treat the lenses also a small "bath". Otherwise, you can keep the lenses even 30 days in the solution, an opened bottle should not be used longer than 2 months.
Subjectively, I am very satisfied with the Revitalens. It has a good cleaning effect and at the same time it contains hyaluronic acid, which helps to keep the moisture longer in the lenses. This also works very well as I could find out in a direct comparison with a Peroxidreiniger without such additives. Overall, therefore also Opticians advise rather to combined solutions with dry eyes as to peroxide (but only so on the edge).
To my mind keep the lenses fresh longer than other comparable cleaners like Opti-Free, so I'm stuck with it.
The only combination cleaner would currently occur to me even as an alternative would be "Biotrue". He seems to be a bit better at killing bacteria, has otherwise also hyaluronic acid and is slightly newer than Revitalens and requires only 4 hours.
Due to the longer cleaning time of 6h and the somewhat poorer bacterial killing loud Ökotest, I pull off even a point when Revitalens.
