After I was very dissatisfied with my Samsung Galaxy Ace and on the search for a successor was I decided for smartphones of the superclass.
After some research on the current top phones (Samsung S3, Note, LG, HTC ...) I have decided for the HTC One X. This decision I have absolutely no regrets.
In any case, it was clear that I wanted to stay with the system Android.
The S3 I tested shortly. Samsung provides for little money really fast phone with a bunch of extras. Only the problem is that the design is completely wrong. Everytime my poor optics or haptics noticed.
When HTC was unpacked, I just had to love it. Just the packaging was an experience in itself. The surface from HTC looks clear and appealing. It is thin and yet one has the feeling to keep a high quality product in hands. The feel is a dream. It has no case to feel an inferior (Monday) product, as it is written in some recessions to keep.
It is activated for the first time passed a menu on the most important settings. The data is automatically synchronized from the old phone to the new Via Bluetooth.
It also immediately updated to the latest available version of Android.
Display -4.7 inches
The display is managed. Very high sharpness, Detailgenaugkeit, no chromatic aberration (yellowness as sometimes described) can be seen.
There are rich contrast and HD sharpness. Here the phone really shows what it can do. It would be easy to look at it every time and can enjoy even the most detailed animation.
Home Screen
You can choose between 7 highly customizable home screens back and forth choose.
The Sense interface you have the possibility every homescreen to make for themselves individually with longer Finder pressure and can choose from many menus. Using drag and drop it stores the different sizes of widgets. Here many are preinstalled or you can use your own apps.
Processing
as already described above will not affect this phone like a cheap plastic mobile phone although it is also made of plastic. The surface is matt up on the sides. Despite the large display the total size falls on Not particularly. It fits easily into your pocket.
Speed
For speed, you can not say anything negative. The four cores make plenty of power and you can run multiple applications simultaneously run without jerking.
Even in the peak period (mails, a number of programs, antivirus, Internet + Downloads etc ...) everything runs absolutely smoothly and quickly. The loading times are just, if at all, minimal necessary.
Battery / Run Time
Personally, one of the main points. After some of my acquaintances their smartphones (including other HTC models) even several times a day I'll have to load at intensive use good two days out. If one were to engage in active energy management is certainly room for improvement.
Camera
8 MP camera shoots Hervoragende images. Short typed on the trigger (on screen) there is only a short delay images. These are to be considered beautiful on the phone and on the computer and have a very good quality for cell phone on. If necessary up to 5 pictures can be shot in series of a button.
The same is true for video. For a phone more than adequate and top quality.
Memory
32 GB internal memory should be enough probably. The expansion via SD card is not possible.
After all, these are a smart phone and for my circumstances that enough anyway. I also find this option safer than with a memory card. Here I have ever lost all the data because the memory card has format from one day to the other only leave. The data were not read.
Negative Points
- What might be disturbing is the USB / charging port on the side. This would certainly have been better chosen on the top or bottom.
- No Memory Card Slot
- Battery not replaceable
All in all, with this HTC flagship
all right. Processing strikes any case, the S3. The performance leaves nothing to be desired. Despite the high speed and the large display, the battery lasts a long time.
I've been using the One X found an everyday phone plays the sämltiche Stückerl. It was absolutely the right decision, and may each recommend this phone.
