Operate the burner on my Mac which works flawlessly. Unfortunately, the writing software is only for Windows computers. On my Windows computer, the burner (Win7) runs just fine The included software, however, is as always CyberLink full advertising. Since there is no current, you will always remember that reminds it but a new and better there. Well it is debatable as no software CyberLink remotely "good" was. Moreover, I can but with the software only DVD burn no BluRays. Therefore no use for me. Schade
Still, I give it 4 stars because I have bought a burner that works properly (with another recording software)
