The hood is beautiful and of high quality (Canon requires), it is a great model. It is placed on all the objectives of 58mm and it fulfills its function especially when it is very sunny. By cons I find it a little expensive for my taste but good passion for photography is priceless ;-)
I recommend it anyway if you are looking for a product of very good quality.
