I had already two Bluetooth speakers: August MS425 (bluetooth and cable purchased from Amazon) and Metronic (bluetooth) which allows me comparisons.
I wanted a more powerful speaker with cable entry (for FM) for my room.
Positive:
- The sound is good, deep and clear without being too pronounced low, which suits me
- Good battery life
- There is in principle a standby system after 10 minutes, which is convenient to sleep with.
- The size is not too bulky, beautiful appearance, good finish, good stability
- There are no flashing LED as the Metronic, which is annoying in the dark.
Negative:
Bluetooth reception is not sensitive enough.
I use my phone Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but I, have also tested with an external Bluetooth transmitter connected to an MP3 player: TaoTronics TT-BA01.
Beyond 2 meters or less if there is an obstacle, the bluetooth reception deteriorates, which is not the case for my other 2 speakers that stand to be apart of several meters, the signal passes even through a wall.
This is not a problem for its current use in my room where it is placed next to the phone but I had hoped better bluetooth sensitivity.
The sound is powerful but significantly less than the Metronic yet less fat.
As noticing other users, the on / off quite small is a little difficult to operate.
Although a little disappointed with the Bluetooth, it's a good product at very decent prices (35.99 10 discount when purchased).
