The reason why I have decided for Gore bike pants, is that I drive every day by bicycle to work and I do not want to get sweaty and want to be well protected in bad weather. That's why the decision was made on a pair of pants from GORE GORE-TEX membrane.
The pants are super processed, as I am otherwise used by Gore. Even the typical cut for cyclists, such as longer legs, the higher Bund are just recommended and I was very excited.
Only one downer was the whole thing, but what is very important to me and also contribute to this evaluation. I have the pants in XXL ordered because I had planned to use the pants as overtrousers to be protected even in colder temperatures against weather influences, or that I have to take off work to just the pants, without change clothes. However, it is very, very tight fitting around the waist, making it virtually excludes this thinking to a diaper cover when under it carries the good jeans down. Just FYI: My normal stuff I buy all in L.
The extra pocket on the back is kind of useless. Although beautiful to look at but because the pants are usually worn under the jacket, somehow impractical.
In addition, missing a small bag into which you can stow your pants after use to save space. Something's actually today already standard in rain pants !?
But as a conclusion remains that it is a very nice pants, comfortable to wear with high wearing-comfort in all weathers, for pure cycling application !;)
