Here I have my doubts whether you can 100% rely on the measured values, the unit if you use normal - so once Positioning cuff, measure, store. Because my measurement results somewhat "utopian" occurred, I have multiple measurements consecutively performed directly for a long time, with each new creation of the cuff. The measurement values ​​differed by up to 50 units.
I have tried to find out what's wrong. I could see at least two possible causes: If I move the cuff with the probe only by a half to one centimeter (lengthwise or crosswise to the arm), the measurement result will not change significantly. The same happens if the probe has not direct and firm contact with the prescribed measuring point, which is not so easy to do with me because of my strong biceps and triceps, because the material of the sleeve due to its stiffness poorly adapts the arm shape.
So I attach at least twice in quick succession and after each again, applying on each side of my control. That's a little annoying (one star deduction also for it).
Conclusion:
I would buy the unit again, because it is obviously not suitable for my arm shape. However, I therefore do not consider the device to be fundamentally bad, but think it would be good for many. Its predecessor (same) did a good job since the early 90s.
