Here are the details:
Sound quality:
I had read various Sony in-ear headphones and was actually quite happy with this. I can endure only a day on my iPod The original Apple handset, however, was with the sound (especially the bass) very unhappy.
Since the better known is the enemy of the good, I'm always looking for sonic improvements.
As I said, my sound 'old' Sony (MDR-EX 81) actually quite good, but I had the London airport again too much time and rummaged in the headphones. After I already wanted to buy the new Sony MDR-EX 90 recommended me the seller would prefer to take the Bose headphones. After I had negotiated a corresponding right of return (listen was not possible for both headphones) I bought the Bose receiver and said goodbye after about a minute of my conversion rights. The bass of Bose headphones was again a lot punchier than any listeners that I have been obsessed. But it is not so that you only hear the bass. Also mids and highs are not forgotten.
In business, I can listen in several Shure models', but personally can do with the Shure sound little. Maybe it is because I prefer more bass-driven sound. In all three Shure models I can not really see what I want to pay the price difference, unfortunately. Mag but be a personal taste thing.
Processing / Design:
The build quality is high, though I think the design is appealing but not spectacular.
Some like it disturbing that the Bose receiver offered only in scharz, I personally have little problem with that.
Ergonomics:
From the fit, the earphones are good, but I had to try longer, (supplied sizes S, M and L are) until I found the right one for me size of silicone inserts. But even now I tend to boot herumzuzupfen to the earphones in order to find the correct position (maybe's also my ears). I have the subjective feeling that the listener is not quite as firmly in the ear sitting as they should. Is with me but not particularly tragic, because I use the headphones usually at the airport or on a plane, rather than while jogging.
The supplied box looks quite nice and is handy, but might be a little smaller (especially thin).
Two small drawbacks but I could see for myself at the ergonomics:
1. The Bose TripAdvisor local feature a classic cable design, ie two equally long cable going to the ears. Personally, I prefer here the Sony solution with a short cable and a longer, that you may cling to his neck, and that secures the handset from falling. Clear one of the same length cables may lay behind the neck is also, but it's not really the same, as the cables are of course not intended.
2. The (gold) connector is advised in my opinion, something big. In addition, he is straight and L-shaped, which I actually think to protect the headphone jack on the player for better. But comes naturally on where you wear your player.
All in all I can the Bose Triport but still each highly recommended, the expected in-ear headphones voluminous sound with powerful bass. Because first of all it's the sound that counts.
So good product but for the next release yet with some room for improvement, especially with regard to ergonomics.
