Actually, I can not do anything particularly good or bad to say - he does what he should do - he reads and writes Blu-Ray.

The only Kretikpunkt: first the recognition of BR discs was zero - DVD's went as normal ???
Had it then tried it with firmware updates and all sorts of things. Last but not least - I wanted to return the burner already - I once swapped the SATA cable and lo and behold - since the burner works as it should.

Why he DVDs but could not detect BluRay's - because of the cable (which was original here) - is me indeed inexplicable, but well anything goes.
