I've then this card reader concerned. The highest measured write speed was 20.1 MB / s, read speed 27.9 MB / s. My expectations were not quite met (300x = 45 MB / s), so a star deduction. Unfortunately Transcend makes no reasonable information to realistic read / write speed, unlike Digisol. Well, next time it gets back a Digisol. But I am nevertheless pleased with the card reader, and will keep it.
Here all the test results with the old and the new card reader and various cards. The test program was used h2testw, 1GB writing + reading / checking on otherwise blank cards.
