Once you could get from Boney M. only gruesome Sampler with unprofessional abridged versions and new recordings for years, Sony / BMG really very concerned to publish the photographs this group relatively complete. There are also really good songs again on "Ultimate Boney M. 2", but there are also striking between nightcap. Such as the terrible "I Need A Babysitter" with his Kindergebrabbel in the background or a completely random together amount snip parent - to bring, where not even bother was made viable transitions between the song samples "Boney M. On 45 mix". And why is "Silly Confusion" with this album and was trimmed by over 7 minutes on the "Boonoonoonoos" in about 4 minutes and touted as "12-inch version." Funny. But many things are indeed really good (when Boney M. like) and we old 70s can look forward to hearing finally fancy versions of the hits that have never been released on CD and in my opinion also partially never on vinyl ("Homeland Africa "or the view expressed here Version of" Boonoonoonoos ") were available. And so I forgive like 4 stars and am curious if there will be a third part (1984-1986).
