Pros:
* Compact design
* Very good image quality in good light
* Very good image stabilization (it still takes some practice for nearly smooth shots)
* High resolution very bright display
* Various manual controls
* Battery life of 1-2 hours

Cons:
* Limited use in poor lighting conditions
* Many features are not available in XAVCS Recording format
* Easy to use and selection of functions sometimes quite cumbersome
* Zoom lever to get used to
* Except battery, charger and HDMI cable no accessories such as sun visor
