Good concept, but not to the point

After a few days of attempted theft, I had to bring myself to return it to Amazon. Here is what I remember:
- If the toy is not accessible to all budgets, it is the price of a basic digital camera there are 7 to 10 years, and loads more than that. Parrot has innovated and opened a new market between the toy and the board camera amateur.
- Steering is relatively intuitive, but it takes a few hours flight to reach can do almost what one wants, and whatever smartphone or tablet used, the accuracy is not perfect.
- The quadricopter that I received had a very bad light, so that one side of the picture was always fuzzy, while the other was developed. Even without this flaw, this perspective emphasizes the wide rather than image quality, do not expect to have the results of the sensor of a high current smartphone range.
- White balance is very unstable: each movement of the drone, the frame moves and takes more or less sky so light and white balance follows painfully ...
- The main camera shoots only horizontally. It would have been very valuable and simple to orient few degrees down ...
- Much more embarrassing, I repeatedly totally lost control of the quadricopter, under normal conditions of use, outside, no wind and away from the receipt. I saw the drone cut its engines and fall of ten meters like a stone without having done anything that explains this behavior and unable to do anything to get it back.
- The design is generally well thought out, with two exceptions: the shell for too fragile inner rotors and gears are highly exposed in the event of a fall. The propellers are strong, but if the UAV does not fall flat on hard ground, expect to have to change the gear. An additional plastic part could effectively protect gears and play a buffer role, what a pity not to have it built.
- The "ventral" sensor with a resolution prohibiting picture-taking, and can be trapped by a too homogeneous soil or pattern, and then drift with no apparent explanation.
- More anecdotal: the software part is very small compared to what is announced / expected: no ability to schedule flights, Augmented Reality games not available ...

In the end, my fears proved unfounded, but I will watch the V3 carefully: I think it lacks little to get to what I hoped to draw.

Amazon always exemplary for delivery and for the return procedure, if it is a flat for spare parts that are not in stock, which are expensive to deliver on the manufacturer's shop ...
