After I bought the console 5 weeks before, I would also like to write a small, brief review.
The main reason for considering a console was to create that I would like in the future no longer great and especially permanently costly upgrade my computer.
Have in recent years played exclusively on the PC and am therefore sure a bit spoiled in terms of graphics, at least.
Basically you get for the money a very good console, no question.
I can also some reviews here do not quite understand, because on the one hand, the device is really very quiet and on the other there is no annoying fan noise.
For me, the PS3 is, moreover, quite normal, ie horizontally. What to look at, of course, such a device that is around enough space so that heat is not jammed.
But I think actually this should be any halfway reasonable people clearly. In movies you sometimes hear the short drive when it reads or similar eg a DVD, Blu Ray, or a game. - Quite normal for a drive and not overly loud.
I have deliberately resorted to 160GB variant, because I find this perfectly adequate, for Scores and Co, the space of completely, even to save the one or other pictures or some music, the latter is for me but interesting to play sufficient disk.
In addition, this package the basic necessities that you need to play, I personally wanted to packages, grab the game involves, I would have probably never bought separately so. Of course you can also at ~ 300 euros basically already expect something of software, but since various bundles offered for a relatively small fee, I think it yet appropriate. In the packaging contents are all necessary connecting cables, ie a power cable, a cable from the console to the TV and a USB cable to charge the wireless controller.

The graphics of the console in my opinion, quite impressive, to complain about, I personally always partly strong antialiasing weaknesses, or in German, lack of anti-aliasing, but that's just my personal impression.
I also do not think it looks cheap processed the console, the matte black color also like it better than the old version with piano lacquer, because these, too, is sensitive to dust but still less sensitive to scratches and also a good deal less.
Clearly complain about is the fact that the accessory is relatively expensive for the console. Whether motion control, wireless controller ... this is also cheaper Sony.
Games, however, you get partially thanks Platinum editions and sometimes cheaper prices, such as here at Amazon or offers various known Eletrofachmärkte also quite cheap. New publications are always initially quite expensive, which is this indeed on all other systems also observed Match prices thus quite normal.
The fact that can act the console as a DVD player with upscaling function and Blu Ray player, it does have a little way to multimedia talent.
The built-in wireless funtion funtioniert the rest perfectly. Turned console, enter the key of the wireless network, confirm and finish. Very easy and takes just 5 minutes. Thus, you can eg games with updates supply to download demos and movies and games buy / borrow. Basically quite nice, I find it, however, not outstanding. The biggest advantage for me is that patches / updates can be retrofitted for free, nice touch.
Bottom line, a console, you can not go far wrong, I think, for the money you get but offered quite a lot.
Useful accessories are HDMI Cable, a second wireless controller and if necessary the optional remote control is being said about it that you can basically use the Filmfuntionen also with the controller.
