The shell protects the iPhone certainly better than the bumpers, but has 2 drawbacks that you should consider before buying. The buttons (volume up / down + Screen Lock) can now be significantly worse (than the Bumper) use and have virtually no pressure point because Belkin relies on rubber buttons. In addition, the entire shell has the property that it is not safe in his hands. The surface is too smooth. When we put all the Iphone peppy on a table, it slips continue almost unabated. The original Bumper has a pendant to the top and bottom rubber strip that provides an always enough grip and the Iphone even on smooth surfaces can not slip. Why Belkin relies on a rubber / plastic blend that provides virtually zero grip I do not understand.
All in all, the protective cover has two serious drawbacks (if you have previously used an original Bumber) but I'm satisfied. The iPhone is really protected well and that's the main thing.
