Hello, I received this DD in time as usual with Amazon, it was tightly wrapped sandwiched between two plastic shells. I had thought to take the SATA cable through against Forgot ATA / SATA power adapter. who came to me very quickly and without cost (thank you) Quickly installed. Starting a little slow on Vista black screen and otherwise "installed drivers" and then the DD installed internally is not displayed in the explorer. Checking in the Bios there face well. Back in Vista and is the procedure I used for those who have the same problem:
- Panel have configuration - Administrative tools - Computer Management - Storage - Disk Management. Disks are listed here, right click on the last installed that does not appear "online" or "healthy" follow the wizard's instructions and then assign a letter, and format it. To paraphrase Fernand Raynaud "it takes some time." Then the disc is visible on Vista and you can work on it.
Since everything is fine and it is not noisy. So a prize drawn for 1TB which gives me satisfaction.
