Curious, I was on the "Thermo Spot" and its function. Unfortunately, did not demonstrate the packaging as the Thermospot works and what I have observed. Only on the homepage of Tefal I found out that the Thermospot sharply turns red when the heat of about 175 degrees is reached.
Heat even after repeated and fry with the pan I can only say that the Thermospot changed very little color. If you do not know the function of this is to have a red dot in the midst of the pan, you would not get it. Therefore, I draw from a point.
The pan has a very high and upright edge, which makes the turn from the pan contents into the corners very difficult. A beveled edge would be an advantage. However small pans with high sides are hard to find. Toll, the Tefal has. So you can turn vegetables and baked potatoes in smaller pan without having to go overboard.
I can only confirm that is the pan very resistant to scratches. I could still find no traces in the pan.
The lid does what he should. However accumulates when washing water in the hole on the pan handle to "Entdampfen" what annoying when water residue left on the glass tracks.
Somti again a good solid pan from Tefal. I would highly recommend it.
