The scanner is known to me from my professional life as a solid and interference-prone little device. So I was very surprised as during software installation I found a very modest software CD, which for example was not able to install the supplied software (Reader in this case, Abby Fine Version 6.0). My conclusion: good equipment, poor software CD. Therefore only 3 stars
