For daily use, the cases are not suitable because they have no right hinges, but only a plastic tape, this will wear out and break fast with frequent opening. The same applies to the closure.
The SD cards are being said well embedded in soft plastic and are safely protected against kinking, shocks and jolts. Waterproof Cases which are not, however, are good (and also most cheap) SD cards always waterproof.
